Catershop

Every year thousands of pilgrims attend the religious Shrine of our Lady in Walsingham. The new visitors centre and restaurant was constructed as part of the existing historic facility and Catershop were nominated to provide the foodservice design that included a new state of the art kitchen and servery area. The challenge for the food servery counters was to design and manufacture a range of functional units that would be in keeping with the traditional style of the architecture and historic background of the facility. With the kitchen we selected a range of cantilever cooking equipment that would stand the test of time and give the client many years of service. The emphasis on the equipment supply was to provide a pleasant working environment for the staff with easy to use functional equipment, many of the staff had worked for a number of years at the facility so Catershop worked closely to create a catering environment that all would be happy with.
