The initial brief from Magdalen College was to produce a servery counter that was both modern in function and decorative in keeping with the existing decor.
Catershop decided that smooth sweeping curves and simple seamless lines would best suit this historic and famous college.
The servery counters were designed with single piece tops and drop in servery equipment. We selected simple drop in units that would do the intended job and inset them into brushed stainless steel counter tops with a ‘Golf Ball’ impression type tray slide. The counters were then finished with tongue and groove hardwood which was stained according to the colleges requirements.
Gentle and subtle lighting really give this counter image of class.
