As part of the brief originally discussed directly with Great Yarmouth College we were requested to come up with a design to provide an additional catering facility to give the students a less formal place to ‘grab and go’ with their food and to also negate the need for the students in another building to have to waste their break times travelling to the other end of the College to get their food. Liaising with the main contractor we came up with the option of an assisted service servery counter to match the client chosen colour schemes, with equipment suitable to provide a snack / light lunch menu. The project had it challenges involved with a new build, however these were overcome working closely with both the client and main contractor and the project was completed on time and within budget.
